Tuesday

Happy Tuesday! Have you looked at our plants recently? We have tomatoes, two kinds of peppers, and BEANS! We grew the beans from seeds -- that makes me so happy! The squash was taking over the cauliflower pot. Hopefully we've fixed that problem.

Today we did 100 Mile Club, then came in for rotations. I like the way the rotations work for most students. There will be an assessment Friday over this week's work.

In math, my group did the problem solving lesson. Tomorrow is the Topic 4 test!

I am really enjoying the book Wonder. Today's read aloud was fun with the emails back and forth between Mr. Tushman and the families. The text messages between August and Jack Will were great too.

Today we had the last day of our first round of rotations.

Remember to think about participating in a talent showcase at the next assembly. We'll meet tomorrow morning to discuss.

Homework:

  • read for 30 minutes
  • fluency 1 minute
  • writing: the Pharaoh sent a message. He wants to see you...
  • spelling choice
  • my math group practice 4-6 (1-3) and make a note card to study
  • Reflections project due Monday
